For a client looking to downsize and simplify, Marina City offered the perfect setting: mid-century bones, stunning river views, and just enough room to live well. En Masse took on a partial renovation—reworking cabinetry, adding a washer-dryer, and introducing new built-ins—while leading a full interiors scope that included furnishings, window treatments, upholstery, and paint.
Drawing from the building’s 1960s origins, its nautical undertones, and the client’s adventurous energy, the result is warm, colorful, and quietly bold. A mix of modern and vintage pieces sit comfortably alongside personal artifacts, creating a space that feels casual but composed, full of personality but easy to live in.
